Senior Game Artist (f/m/d)

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Senior Game Artist who will support us in building the next generation of hit games on mobile

justDice is the European market leader of rewarded apps & games: Our products are enjoyed by more than 100 million players worldwide and we’ve distributed over $40 million in cash & rewards to our users to date!

As part of the Applike Group (financially backed by media powerhouse Bertelsmann), justDice has access to an extensive toolset and funding with a long-term growth mindset. 

We are a team of experts in software development, online marketing, data-driven business intelligence, and app & game design. We are always seeking new creative solutions to complex problems, which has enabled us to release new products fast!
What you will do:
  • You will be developing the look & feel of the game
  • You will create beautiful, engaging game worlds consisting of characters, animations, and environments in 2D and 3D
  • You will develop visual concepts and ideas
  • You will design User Interfaces for mobile games
  • You will be working closely with game designers, programmers and everyone else in a passionate game team
  • You will be managing outsourcing vendors
    • Who you are:
  • You gained senior expert knowledge in game development and making game art, especially on mobile platforms
  • You have a basic understanding of rigging and 3D character animations
  • You have outsourcing experience: managing external art vendors
  • You are capable of independently creating concept sketches and maybe even final renderings and animations are a bonus
  • Hands-on experience in UX and UI design for mobile games is a bonus
  • Experience in shader languages (e.g. HLSL) and Scripting (e.g Python & C#) is a bonus
  • You have pride and responsibility in your work when given the freedom to work independently
  • You are modest and respectful when receiving feedback from your team
  • You have passion for games, especially mobile games
